Bio & CV

Julie Delabarre, France, 1984.

​

I’m just a photographer and translator who really like to play with language, images, stories and narrative.

 

Educated as as a Hispanic philologist from Toulouse II University and photography from Blank Paper School in Madrid, I work as a photographer, translator and writer for several medias and agencies. I had the opportunity to show my photographic and video projects at the Fòrum Fotogràfic Can Basté, BAFFEST, Planche(s) Contact photo festival in Deauville, the Festival de Cine PNR de Madrid, the CurtoCircuito Festival or participate in several open calls organized by collectives and institutions such as PhotoEspaña, SCAN Tarragona, FIEBRE, Fotoaplauso or the Photobook Club Madrid.

 

Les Devoirs (Los Deberes) is my first photobook and I have since published Deauville, ville fleurie with. CaravanBooks. I'm currently working on À mettre dans mon cercueil ou à brûler, among other projects.
